Happy Acres Resort offers a beautiful mountain setting where you can set up your camper or tent, or you can rent a lodge, cabin or yurt. Amenities also include a large restaurant serving a full menu, a pool for guests, newly renovated playground and a brand new laundry facility. This privately owned resort, located in Waterville, Pennsylvania is open year round, is pet friendly, and boasts 60 acres of sites built into a mountainside.

The resort is surrounded by state game lands and across the street is Little Pine State Park, which has miles of marked hiking trails and a 94 acre lake for swimming and fishing, picnic areas and volleyball. The Big Pine Creek (4 miles south) and the Little Pine Creek (across the street) are stocked trout fishing streams that are easily accessible for canoeing, tubing, kayaking, swimming and fishing. There are ATV trails on marked trails through the mountains nearby and in the winter you can enjoy over 100 miles of snowmobile trails.

Owners Gene and Irene Feerrar saw a Pacific Yurt being installed at the state park across the street and thought that a yurt would really compliment their resort. After researching yurts they were convinced that Pacific Yurts offered the best quality product at a fair price. They designed the interior of their yurt rental to fit the demands of their clients. The yurt includes a full kitchen, queen size bed, pull out couch, exterior deck with gas grill and a large interior bathroom complete with Jacuzzi tub. Located under a stand of large pine trees, the setting is romantic and peaceful.
